Dr. Angela Taylor, Member-at-Large

Angela is currently serving as a Member at Large for The Moyonna C. Tillman Foundation Incorporated and Angela is the aunt of Moyonna Tillman.

Angela grew up in Capitol Heights, MD, graduated from Crossland High School, and worked for the Department of Commerce Patent & Trademark Office as a clerk typist.

After graduating from Crossland, Angela attended the University of New Orleans in New Orleans, Louisiana where she received her B.S. Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and Sociology, a Master’s Degree in Special Education from the University of St. Thomas, Minneapolis, MN, an Education Specialist (Ed.S) Degree In Special Education from Walden University, Minneapolis, MN, and K-12 Administrators and Directors Licensures from St. Cloud State University, St. Cloud, Minnesota.

Angela has worked as a Special Education Teacher for 19 years serving students with special needs. Currently, Angela is a Special Education Instructional Coach and coaches special education teachers. Angela is actively involved with an Equity Mentorship program and an Affinity Diversity Group.

Angela is married to her incredible husband Robert and has two amazing daughters and one energetic grandson. She enjoys relaxing and spending time with her family.
