Robert Taylor, Chairperson

Robert is currently serving as the Executive Director and Chairperson for The Moyonna C. Tillman Foundation Incorporated. Robert is the uncle of Moyonna Tillman and the brother of Muhammad Taylor.

Robert grew up in Capitol Heights, MD, and graduated from Largo High School. After graduating from Largo, Robert attended Prairie View A&M University in Texas, where he received his B.S. Degree in Industrial Technology/Engineering. After completing his studies at PVA&M, Robert joined Cargill, Incorporated, and has held various Senior Leadership positions during his 32 years of service. Robert has attended numerous leadership programs. Notably, The University of California Los Angeles African American Leadership Studies, Cargill’s Transitioning into Leadership and High Performing Leadership program.

Robert is an active member of GEAPS (Grain Elevator & Processing Society) and served as President in 2018/2019 and Chairperson in 2019/2020. He currently serves on the Executive Board of the GEAPS Foundation, is a Board member of the Boys & Girls Club of the Twin Cities in Minnesota, and sits on the Planning Commissioners City Council Board for Eden Prairie, MN.

Robert is married to his wonderful wife Angela and has two amazing daughters and one energetic grandson. He enjoys playing golf, relaxing on the beach, and spending time with his family. One of his favorite quotes is, “Be the change you wish to see in the world”. -Mahatma Gandhi.
